Information on A-B Tech's Health Clinic

Overview

A-B Tech has an on-campus student/employee health clinic located in the Ferguson Center for Allied Health and Workforce Development Building (building #24 on the campus map), room 115.17 on the Asheville campus. Students (18 years of age or older) and employees may be seen at the clinic.

Hours

The clinic is open from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on designated Wednesdays throughout the semester.

Services

Services include: treatment for aches and pains; blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol evaluations; prescriptions; minor emergencies; medical questions; smoking cessation; and cold, flu and virus care.

The cost is $10 per 15-minute visit for students (with student ID), and $15 for employees, regardless of insurance coverage. Vouchers for students may be available at the clinic.

Walk-in patients are welcome. You can also make an appointment by calling (828) 398-7570 or emailing healthclinic@abtech.edu.
