Program Overview

A-B Tech offers a certificate program in Manicuring/Nail Technology. The curriculum includes classroom study and hands-on fundamentals. Manicuring students gain practical experience under the direction of College faculty in the Mountain Tech Spa, an on-campus salon located in the Birch Building.

Admissions Process

Manicuring/Nail Technology is one of our limited admissions programs. To check on the next application period and start date, please contact Tambra Luppino, Chairperson of Spa Therapies and Operations, at (828) 398-7674 or tambramluppino@abtech.To prepare to apply for the program, you'll need to complete a general application to the College and take the Reading and Sentence Skills sections of the NC-DAP/Accuplacer placement test. Previous college credit in college-level English may also be used for the placement requirement.
