The Culinary Arts A.A.S. is a two-year, five-semester program that prepares culinary professionals to work in many food service settings, such as restaurants, hotels, catering operations, and healthcare facilities.
To enroll in this program, you must:
- Complete a general College application.
- Complete placement. If taking the EdReady placement test, you must complete all three sections (reading, sentence skills, and math).
- Complete the first dose of the Hepatitis A vaccine by the first day of food preparation and service classes.
Program Renown
A-B Tech Culinary Arts students have won many state, regional, and national Culinary Competitions. Numerous graduates have held important culinary leadership positions throughout the country.
Take Culinary Classes Without Enrolling in a Program
In order to take Culinary curriculum (for college credit) classes, you must be enrolled in a Culinary program. Culinary classes are reserved for students who have met the necessary enrollment requirements for one of the Culinary programs.
On-Campus Dining
Culinary Arts and Hospitality students offer dining experiences for the public on most Thursdays in the fall and spring semesters. A-B Tech does not currently offer any catering services.
