Discount bus passes available for current A-B Tech students

Overview

Currently enrolled students (Curriculum, Continuing Education, and GED) can purchase a one-month Asheville Transit pass for $10. A regular one-month Asheville Transit pass is $20 if purchased from the Transit Center. Bus passes are usually available for the month on the last day of the previous month or first day of the current month.

Curriculum Students

• May purchase one pass per month
• Current A-B Tech student ID must be presented at time of purchase
• Must be currently enrolled as a Curriculum student
• Must be purchased in the Business Office at 93 Victoria Road

Continuing Education Students

• May purchase one pass per month
• Must present current governmental or state issued photo ID
• Must be currently enrolled as a Continuing Education student
• Must be purchased in the Ferguson Center for Allied Health and Workforce Development (building #24 on the campus map)

Transitional Studies Students

• May purchase one pass per month
• Must present current governmental or state issued photo ID
• Must be currently enrolled as a Transitional Studies student such as HiSet®, GED®, Adult High School, or English Language Acquisition (ELA)
• Must first request a bus pass slip at the Hemlock Building (building #20 on the campus map)

Purchase Bus Pass with Financial Aid

Students who have already been awarded financial aid for the current semester can use their financial aid funds to purchase discounted bus passes in the Business Office.
