How to apply for or retrieve a FSA ID number
The FSA ID is used to add a further layer of security to your FAFSA. If you haven’t yet created an FSA ID, you can create one on the Federal Student Aid website.
If you already have a PIN, you can link your information to your new FSA ID by entering your PIN while registering for your FSA ID.
If you have forgotten your FSA ID username or password, go to the Federal Student Aid website and click on the "Log In" tab. Then select "Forgot My Username" or "Forgot My Password." The link below has additional information about this process:
