How to get an A-B Tech student ID card

You can request a student ID card by completing the Student ID Card Request online form. You will use your full A-B Tech student email address and password to log in to the form.

The form includes an option to pick up the card in person or to have it mailed to you. After you have submitted the form, you will be emailed at your student email account when the card is ready.

If you selected the option to pick it up in person, you will then be able to pick it up from the Bailey Building. You will need to present a valid driver's license or other government-issued photo ID to pick up your student ID card. The Bailey Building (#5 on our campus map) is open Monday–Thursday from 9:00 a.m.–5:45 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m.

There is no charge for the first student ID card. If you already have a card and lose it, there will be a $10 charge for a replacement. You can pay for the replacement student ID card online

Library Card

After receiving an A-B Tech ID card, you should take it to the Don C. Locke Library to activate the card in the library's database. The library-activated photo ID card can be used to check out materials, use the research computers, and access reserve items.
