Types of financial assistance available for students
Federal grants, direct loans, work-study, and scholarships are available to students based on need and eligibility. The first step in applying for financial assistance is filling out a FAFSA application at studentaid.gov.
After filling out a FAFSA, it can take several weeks and possibly longer to process during peak times. The Financial Aid Office will contact you through your student email account to let you know what additional documents are needed in order to finish processing your financial aid application. They'll also contact you by email to let you know whether you're awarded any financial aid.
