Program Overview

Our Business Incubation is a program to help entrepreneurs develop their businesses. It offers consultation, coaching, access to shared resources, and either office, wet lab or manufacturing facilities. It is designed to help both new and emerging businesses build a strong foundation for long term sustainability and growth.

If you are interested in applying for the program, you may request an appointment to discuss business incubation and also complete an application for the program.

Facilities

Business Incubator

The incubator contains approximately 141,000 square feet as follows:

• FDA-approved commercial food kitchen Blue Ridge Food Venture
• BioNetwork/Natural Products Core Lab and office space with 14 wet labs
• Light manufacturing space/warehouse space
• Executive office space

• Work rooms
• Computer training rooms
• T3 line access

Student Entrepreneurial Resources

The Small Business Center also provides assistance to A-B Tech students and graduates who manage a small businesses or are interested in launching a business. The Student Entrepreneurial Resources page of our website outlines the services offered and provides a link to many free events and workshops.
