Take Curriculum Classes Without Entering a Program
Take Curriculum Classes Without Entering a Program
Summary
The required steps for taking curriculum classes for college credit at A-B Tech without entering a program or becoming a degree-seeking student
Enrollment Steps
If you want to take curriculum (college credit) classes at A-B Tech without entering into an academic program of study, you'll need to follow these steps:
- Complete a general College application, which you can link to from abtech.edu/admissions.
- Complete New Student Orientation, which you can schedule at abtech.edu/nso.
- If you're registering for courses that have prerequisites/placement in Math or English, you may submit an unofficial transcript to advising@abtech.edu. Please use your student email account and include your name, date of birth or student ID number, phone number, and the course(s) you wish to take. Alternatively, you may come in person during normal business hours for walk-in advising in the Bailey Building (#5 on our campus map). Walk-in advising is first-come, first-served, and there may be a wait.
If you're a "visiting student" from another college, there are some additional steps you should consider in order to smoothly transition between colleges.
Key Words: take class without degree, non-degree, non degree, unclassified, visiting, single class
