Summary: Step-by-Step instructions for viewing financial aid status online in WebAdvisor
 
 
1. To access WebAdvisor, go to abtech.edu, scroll over "Online Services" at the top of the page, and select WebAdvisor from the drop-down list.

2. Click "Log In" at the top of the WebAdvisor Main Menu page, then enter your username and password. (WebAdvisor login help can also be found by clicking on "Info about User IDs" and "Info about Passwords" links at the bottom of the WebAdvisor Main Menu page).

3. After logging in, click on "Curriculum Students" on the right.

4. From the Curriculum Students Menu, click “Financial Aid Self-Service” under the “Financial Aid”  heading.

5. A new tab or window will open with Financial Aid Self-Service. Depending on how far along you are with the financial aid application process, the exact appearance of this screen will vary. The screenshot below shows the Financial Aid Self-Service homepage for a student whose financial aid has been awarded, so there is a link to read the award letter.

6. At the top of any Financial Aid Self-Service screen, there is a red, arrow-shaped "Financial Aid" button. If you hover over this button, a navigational drop-down menu will appear with options that will take to to the different areas of Self-Service.
 
 

7. Many students need to submit additional documentation before they can have their award processed. If the Financial Aid Office needs additional documents from you, the Financial Aid Self-Service homepage will have a message that says, "You have missing documents!" You can click on the "Complete required documents" link to view a checklist of documents that are needed.
