A-B Tech's childcare center closed in August 2015.
Child Care Assistance Program
The Child Care Assistance Program is a need-based program that helps with childcare costs. To receive these funds, you must establish your financial need by filing a FAFSA application. For more information about the Child Care Assistance Program, contact the office of the Vice President of Student Services at (828) 398-7143.
Partnership With YWCA
A-B Tech Community College and the YWCA of Asheville have partnered to provide short-term childcare for current A-B Tech curriculum and Continuing Education students at the YWCA at 185 South French Broad Ave.
Students receive three free four-hour shifts of childcare. Additional hours of childcare are available for $5 per hour.
