Deadline to Register
Deadline to Register
Summary
How registration deadlines are used for curriculum and Continuing Education classes
Registration Deadline Policy
There is no single deadline or last day for class registration. Classes can fill up quickly, so we recommend registering as early as possible. The following rules are in place:
- For seated or hybrid classes that are 14 weeks or longer, students may add the class up to 48 hours after the start of the first class meeting. For example, if a class meets for the first time on Monday at 8:00 a.m., students will be able to register for the class up until 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
- For fully online classes that are 14 weeks or longer, students may add the class up to 48 hours after the class’s start-date. For example, if an online class starts on Monday, students will be able to register for the class through the end of the day (11:59 p.m.) on Wednesday.
- For classes that are less than 14 weeks, students may only register up until the first class meeting or through the first full day for online classes.
Registration Process
If you're a new student taking curriculum (for college credit) classes, you'll need to follow the general College enrollment steps before you'll be able to register for classes. If you're a new student taking Continuing Education (non-credit) classes, you'll need to follow the Continuing Education registration process to sign up for classes.
