Repeating a Course
The College policies for repeating curriculum and Continuing Education courses
The College policy for repeating a curriculum course (for college credit) is available on our website. If you receive a low grade in a course and repeat the course, only the higher of the two grades will be used to calculate your GPA; however, both grades will always appear on your transcript. If you withdraw from a course and then repeat it, the "W" and the new grade will appear on your transcript.
If you are a financial aid recipient, you may receive aid for repeating a class one time.
Continuing Education Courses
The policy for repeating a Continuing Education course is available by going to abtech.edu/ce/registration and clicking on the "General Information" link on the left side of the screen.
Key Words: repeat, repetition, retake, course repetition, repeat course, grade replacement, grade forgiveness
