On Campus
Visit the K. Ray Bailey Student Services Building (#5 on the Campus Map), which is open Monday–Thursday 9:00 a.m.–5:45 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
You will need a valid government-isued photo ID:
- Driver's License, Learner's Permit, Passport, U.S. Military ID, or Permanent Resident Card
- If you do not have a government-issued photo ID, you can get a North Carolina Identification Card at the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles.
You must be currently registered for classes.
If you are a CCP High School student or a Transitional Studies student, you may obtain a student ID card through your program coordinator, advisor, or liaison.
Online
You can request a student ID card by completing the Student ID Card Request online form. You will use your full A-B Tech student email address and password to log in to the form.
The form includes an option to pick up the card in person or to have it mailed to you. After you have submitted the form, you will receive a notice in your student email account when the card is ready.
If you selected the option to pick it up in person, you will then be able to pick it up from the Bailey Building. You will need to present a valid driver's license or other government-issued photo ID to pick up your student ID card. The Bailey Building (#5 on our campus map) is open Monday–Thursday 9:00 a.m.–5:45 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
Cost
There is no charge for the first student ID card. If you already have a card and lose it, there will be a $10 charge for a replacement. You can pay for the replacement student ID card online.
