When registration opens for both returning and new Curriculum students
Registration dates and deadlines are posted on our website, at abtech.edu/deadlines. We encourage you to register as soon as possible for the best class availability. There is no single deadline to register.
New students register for classes during "open registration," which usually begins in June for fall semesters, November for spring semesters, and April for summer semesters. If new students attempt to register for a class before open registration begins, they will get an error message that says they have "no priority registration time."
Current and Returning Students
Returning students are given a specific "priority registration time" when they can begin registering, based on the number of credits they've taken at A-B Tech. Fall and summer registration usually opens in April, and spring registration usually opens in November.
View Your Registration Time in Self-Service
1. Go to abtech.edu, select "online Services" at the top of the page, and click "Self-Service."
2. Log in with your A-B Tech Microsoft Account.
3. Click on the "Registration" tile on the Self-Service Main Menu page.
4. Select the semester you want to register for (Fall, Spring, or Summer). Your registration time will appear below that.
Priority registration times are added each semester, typically around the time that the class schedules are published in Self-Service. If you have any questions about your registration time, please email email@example.com.
Students who are enrolled in an academic program must consult their advisor every registration period and set up a course Plan before registering in Self-Service.
Students with disabilities are offered priority registration, which is typically held the first week of regular registration. To request an appointment with Support Services, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
