Help with filling out a FAFSA

FAFSA by Appointment

In light of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Financial Aid Office has temporarily suspended in-person FAFSA by Appointments. Please email financialaidoffice@abtech.edu or call (828) 398-7595 or (828) 398-7596 for assistance. If you reach our voicemail, leave a message with your contact information and we will return your call as soon as possible. 

Some FAFSA assistance is available in person in the Bailey Building. Visit our Status of Operations, Classes and Services for more information.

Disability Income

Disability income does not count toward yearly income on the FAFSA application.

Unemployment Income

When filling out your FAFSA, any income from unemployment benefits should be counted as income for the year.
