Minimesters and Financial Aid

Minimesters and Financial Aid

Summary

How minimesters affect the disbursement of financial aid funds

Disbursement Timing

We can't disburse any financial aid funds for a class until you have been reported as actively attending. If you're taking a four- or eight-week minimester class, the class will not count toward your registered hours until after the "census date" (or 10 percent point) of the class. Therefore, you won't get any refund money associated with that class until after the class begins meeting. You can view the anticipated disbursement dates by visiting our Dates & Deadlines webpage and selecting the correct semester.
