Tuition Bills Sent to Financial Aid Students
Tuition Bills Sent to Financial Aid Students
Summary
Why students receiving financial aid sometimes receive tuition bills in the mail
Paper Statements in the Mail
If you have already been awarded financial aid, and your financial aid has not yet been disbursed, you may receive a tuition bill from the A-B Tech Business Office. You should look in Student Finance Self-Service to make sure your financial aid is in place for the current semester. You should also regularly check your student email account for important updates from the Financial Aid Office about your financial aid status.
If your financial aid has already been awarded and is in place, and you have not received any additional email notifications about owing a tuition balance or being ineligible to receive your award, you may disregard the tuition bill you received. Your financial aid will automatically be disbursed and applied to your account balance after your attendance has been recorded in your classes.
Updated Account Balance
If your financial aid disbursement is more than your account balance, you'll receive a refund for any remaining financial aid funds. If your financial aid disbursement is less than your tuition balance, you'll receive an updated tuition bill with your new account balance.
